Soapbox science @Belfast: what do you about the catalytic converter in your car?

Today we participated to Soapbox Science 2017 event in Belfast. Soapbox  is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women scientists and the science they do in  Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM). For the event Victoria square has been transformed into an arena for public learning and scientific debate. Everyone had the opportunity to enjoy, learn from, heckle, question, probe, interact with and be inspired by some remarkable women in science who were there to amaze people with their latest discoveries, and to answer the science questions you have been always burning to ask. We did our best to show how the catalytic converter works… look at the giant filter in picture!. It was an incredible experience and a unique opportunity for us to talk about what fascinates us and explain why we think we have the most fantastic job in the world! Learn more about Soapbox Science
